Belgium is running behind concerning electric motorcycles brands, not to mention the many initiatives from other continents that are coming our way. Sure, Saroléa has been the Belgian pioneer with the Manx7, the ultimate electric high end superbike, but Saroléa is currently focusing more on their innovative technologies.
Saroléa meets Trevor Motorcycles
It was therefore no surprise that the team of Trevor Motorcycles and Saroléa have found each other (again). “In 2018 there was already a collab, based on a Saroléa motorcycle (Trevor then existed under the name The Mighty Machines). The N60 MM.01 became an electric “mean” streetfighter, based on the racing superbike with which the brothers Torsten and Bjorn Robbens realized the comeback of Saroléa in the TT Zero on the Isle of Man,” explains co-founder Jeroen-Vincent Nagels. This project was in cooperation with Café Costume from Antwerp (they created a tailor-made biker costume with protectors for optimal protection), Hedon Helmets from London who have now also delivered an exclusive helmet creation and Studio Blade with a design every-day- carry-knife.
Cadaqués
During that period in 2018, in preparation for the N60 MM.01, Philippe Stella and Jeroen-Vincent Nagels had retreated themselves in to Cadaqués in Catalonia. It was then that the idea was also born to develop a modern and ‘clean’ version of the vintage dirt bikes they had available. “Playing a little” on the sandy roads in the area had an inspiring effect, but a dirt bike is not exactly very quiet. We are now 3 years later and the electric dirt bike TREVOR DTRe STELLA makes its debut on the sandy roads of Catalunya with a little less noise …

Minimal design
Nobody else than John McInnis (California), who used to be head designer of Alta Motors, was allowed to design this motorcycle. John’s style is very minimalistic – less is more. Technology
Equipped with an 11 kW brushless electric motor and a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery designed by Saroléa Performance Technology, the DTRe STELLA is a sporty and agile flat tracker on all terrains. Hedon
Hedon Helmets are also back in the story and were excited to design a special Trevor X Hedon helmet for the 10 first ambassadors and lucky owners of the Trevor Founders Series. 30 additional helmets have been made and can be ordered from the HEDON website as well as in the shop.
Versions
The DTRe STELLA can be reserved in an off-road version or in a street-legal version on the website www.trevormotorcycles.com. The off-road version costs € 12,995 including VAT. The legal version (with all the lights and bells), costs € 14,495 including VAT.
